Decksi transmits musical intent (MIDI data), not audio or video. This preserves timing, groove, and control between DJs, enabling true remote collaboration. Performances can then be streamed globally.
How does Decksi keep DJs in sync across cities or countries?
Decksi uses Telemidi’s TEMPO (patent pending) to regulate timing across the network. This delivers groove-locked synchrony between collaborators, who share a pulse alignment accuracy of less than 5 milliseconds.
Do I need to map my DJ controller before I can use Decksi?
Yes. All controllers must be mapped using the Decksi Wizard. If yours isn’t in the library or you use custom mappings, mapping is required before collaborative sessions.
Can I use any DJ console or software with Decksi?
Yes. Decksi is MIDI-native and cross-platform compatible. Any controller or software can be used once mapped through the TUM system.

TUM (Telemidi Unified Mapping) standardises DJ control actions. When you trigger an action on your gear, Decksi instantly translates it so your collaborator’s setup responds identically; regardless of brand or layout.
How do I find and connect with other DJs to play back-to-back?
Use Decksi’s built-in search to filter by location, genre, or profile. You can request collaborations and schedule B2B sessions directly through the platform.
Can I record or monetise my performance on Decksi?
Yes. Future features will include performance recording, post-production tools, remix packs, and integrated revenue sharing for monetised sets and collaborations.
Will my timing and musical feel still be tight if my collaborator is far away?
